Quarantine Island

By 10CrlScience

Today on our trip to Quarantine Island we collected data to help a scientific research on dredging. During our trip we used a prop called a quadrat which is exactly a meter squared. Using this tool we counted types of plants and animals recording this data on our iPads and papers. Getting back into the lab we calculated our data and compared them with our last trip, making observations and comment on things that seemed to be different. This is going towards a scientific study and we are really fortunate for opportunities like this, it was a great experience doing this tripand we are really excited for more.
